Practice Nurses

DSC02023Led by Anne Aitkin & Caroline Shay who are independent prescribers the nurses & Healthcare assistants are all registered Nurses with a range of qualifications.
Practice Nurses are available by appointment only for a range of medical services. They can help you with dressings, cervical smears and immunisations, as well as offeradvice on general health, minor ailments, routine blood/urine tests, foreign travel andchronic disease management.

 We recommend you access before a travel appointment.

A member of the Nursing team is dedicated to looking after our patients in care homes, as well as some housebound patients.

Health Care Assistants

Health Care Assistants are trained to perform duties such as ECGs, blood tests and dressings.

Practice Pharmacist

Morna Barker, a clinical pharmacist is available by appointment to advise on medication.

Carli Dobson and her team are happy to help you. They can assist with medical records queries, non NHS medical & insurance reports. The medical secretaries can assist with information about referrals to hospitals and other providers.

Simon Miller works in Adult Physiotherapy at Chapel Allerton Hospital. Referrals into him are via the Leeds MSK pathway. He also works in private practice at The yorkshire Physiotherapy and Sports Injury Clinic, Otley.
